Happy November Everyday Speechies!
We have several highlights this month, so let’s dive in!
Our biggest announcement is that we have added two new goals, complete with brand-new videos, games, and interactive activities! Building Confidence falls under our existing Self-Esteem skill and Executive Functioning falls under our existing Self-Regulation skill. Additionally, we are excited to release two new Everyday Speech World chapters!
As if that weren’t exciting enough—we’re introducing a new and highly requested setting for our videos: the playground!
And last, but certainly not least, check out our new Thanksgiving craft designed to help your students tap into their attitude of gratitude.
This goal helps learners gain confidence and improve their self-esteem. Learners who are confident trust and feel good about themselves, their abilities, and their thoughts. When learners are confident they’re more likely to try new things and try again when they fail or things get challenging.
This goal helps learners adopt skills that allow them to plan, focus attention, remember, and juggle multiple tasks. Executive functioning also helps learners monitor and successfully execute their goals. Learners who present with difficulty in initiating tasks, sequencing steps, flexible thinking, organization, and time management may benefit from additional support with their executive functioning skills.
In this video, learners will be taught time management skills to ensure their success as they gain more independence and acquire more responsibilities.

Thanksgiving Activity: Gratitude Cornucopia
